Olympus Launches EZDilate Endoscopic Balloon Dilator

Olympus has launched its EZDilate multi-stage endoscopic balloon dilator that aims for improved precision and control in endoscopic balloon dilation procedures.

The device helps gastroenterologists navigate through difficult anatomy and provides easier placement and positioning within the stricture.

It also provides superior diameter accuracy without the need to overinflate to reach target specification, according to the company.

Olympus will showcase the device at the New York Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Dec. 17 to 18. — Michael Cipriano
