Mount Sinai Medical Initiates Clinical Study of MyoVista

December 4, 2015

New York’s Mount Sinai Medical has started a clinical study to examine Heart Test Laboratories’ MyoVista heart screening device.

The study is designed to evaluate the device — which is designed for the early detection of heart disease — for the identification of coronary arterial disease versus computed tomographic coronary angiography and myocardial dysfunction in patients without CAD, as compared with echocardiography.

The trial is expected to enroll 200 patients and take between 12 to 24 months to complete. — Michael Cipriano
