Mela Sciences to Become Strata Skin Sciences

Horsham, Pa.-based Mela Sciences will have a new corporate identity in 2016.

Starting Jan. 5, 2016, the dermatology company will be known as Strata Skin Sciences. The change is intended to reflect the broader dermatology market now served by the company.

The Strata portfolio includes the XTRAC laser system for the treatment of psoriasis and vitiligo and the VTRAC excimer lamp system and MelaFind, which helps identify melanoma. — Elizabeth Hollis
