Great Basin Scientific Garners $20.5M Funding Commitment

Molecular diagnostics firm Great Basin Scientific has secured $20.5 million in funding from institutional investors, including $18.4 million to support the company’s operations.

The funding will boost the products in the company’s pipeline. Currently in development are the Staph ID/R Blood Culture Panel, the Nasal SA Pre-Screen, the Fungal Pathogens Panel, the Shiga Toxin Direct Test and the Stool Bacterial Pathogens Panel.
