Fujifilm VisualSonics Secures CE Mark for High Frequency Ultrasound

Toronto, Canada, devicemaker Fujifilm VisualSonics has snapped up the CE Mark for its Vevo MD, an ultra-high frequency clinical ultrasound system.

According to the company, the device operates at much higher frequencies than any conventional ultrasound system.

Renaud Maloberti, vice president and general manager of FujifilmVisualSonics, says the system allows for image resolution down to 30 micrometers. — Michael Cipriano
