Philips Taps Jean Botti as Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer

Royal Philips has appointed Jean Botti as chief innovation and strategy officer, as part of the company’s effort to capture a larger portion of HealthTech opportunities.

Botti, who will join Philips April 1, will become a member of Philips’ executive committee and report directly to Philips CEO Frans van Houten. Botti will succeed Jim Andrew, who left Philips in the fourth quarter of 2015 for personal reasons.

Botti joins Philips from Airbus Group, where he served as chief technical officer since 2006. — Jonathon Shacat
