Via Surgical Secures $6M for FasTouch Deployable Suture Fixation System

Via Surgical has landed $6 million for its FasTouch deployable suture fixation system, the company announced.

The investment — led by Benslie Investment Group — will support the increasing clinical demand for improved fixation through development and marketing efforts in 2016, Via said.

FasTouch is the first technology with the potential to provide a comprehensive fixation solution in hernia repair, according to the company. — Jonathon Shacat
