Hemovent Raises $6M in Series A Investment

Hemovent GmbH has raised $6 million in Series A funding for its extra corporeal membrane oxygenation system.

The company says it is developing the world’s smallest and first self-contained and fully portable extra corporeal membrane oxygenation system that supports or replaces heart and lung function in the event of cardiac and respiratory failure.

The round was led by MIG Verwaltungs, with WCTI Partners, Seed Fond Aachen II, KfW Bank, NRW.BANK.Venture Fonds and PB Beteiligung- und Vermoegensverwaltung also participating. — Jonathon Shacat
