Direct Flow Medical Reveals New Transcatheter Mitral Valve

Santa Rosa, Calif.-based Direct Flow Medical launched its transcatheter mitral development program and revealed its Direct Flow Medical Transcatheter Mitral Valve, which is designed to combat structural heart disease.

The valve was unveiled in a preclinical case presentation, and exhibits transapical implant feasibility, according to Azeem Latib of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. — Anisa Jibrell
