J&J Introduces JLABS Incubator in Houston

March 3, 2016

Johnson & Johnson launched its JLABS life sciences incubator in Houston this week that will offer a 34,000-square foot life sciences incubator with shared lab space, offices, laboratory suites and equipment and to accommodate up to 50 startups.

The new space — which can accommodate up to 50 startups — will open with 21 companies that embody what the company describes as “a range of disciplines and geographies.”

The Houston site is the fifth JLABS facility to open in the U.S., and the first to come with a medical device prototype lab, according to the company. — Anisa Jibrell
