SunTech, AtCor Gain FDA Clearance for Ambulatory BP Monitor

SunTech Medical and AtCor Medical have scored FDA clearance for their Oscar 2 ambulatory blood pressure monitor with SphygmoCor Inside.

The product, which received the CE Mark in May 2015, is a result of a multi-year partnership between SunTech and AtCor that allows both companies to market the product in the Americas, Australia, New Zealand, the EU and selected Asian countries. 

The device offers a noninvasive way to measure central arterial pressure waveforms, central aortic blood pressures and arterial stiffness indices, according to the company. — Anisa Jibrell
