Opsens Earns FDA Clearance For OptoWire II

Opsens has won FDA clearance for its OptoWire II, an optical guidewire intended for fractional flow reserve measurement used in coronary stenosis diagnosis.

The guidewire features a hydrophilic coating to enhance performance in different settings, including highly calcified and tortuous vessels, the company says.
