Vycor Medical Introduces VBASMini
March 16, 2016
Boca Raton, Fla.-based Vycor Medical has launched the VBASMini, the smallest model in its menu of ViewSite brain access system devices.
The minimally invasive device is used to retrieve large specimens and eliminate intracerebral hematomas, drain abscess, as well as potentially eliminate intraventricular tumors to permit irrigation outflow.
George Magram, retired medical director of neurosurgery of Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, Calif., helped the company during the device’s development phase.—Anisa Jibrell
