Silk Road Scores CE Mark for ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection

Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Silk Road Medical has won a CE mark for its Enroute transcarotid neuroprotection system for the treatment of carotid artery blockage.

The device allows for direct access to the artery through the neck and initiates high rate temporary blood flow reversal to prevent stroke while inserting the stent, the company says. — Anisa Jibrell
