St. Jude Nabs CE Mark, Launches Quadripolar Pacing Leads

St. Jude Medical has snagged the CE mark and launched three Quartet left ventricular leads — two new electrode spacing choices and one lead shape.

The new spacing options are designed to more efficiently target cardiac anatomies in patients who rely on cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemakers and defibrillators, the company says.

The additional options broaden the company’s existing quadripolar lead portfolio and promote individualization of CRT. — Anisa Jibrell
