BTG Launches LC Bead LUMI for Tumors

BTG has launched its LC Bead LUMI, a radiopaque embolic bead for the embolization of hypervascular tumors and arteriovenous malformations.

The bead provides confirmation of its location during a procedure and facilitates the precise assessment of tumor treatment, the company says.

The launch represents the bead’s first market commercialization, and the company is pursuing clearances for other radiopaque bead products. — Anisa Jibrell
