NeoSurgical Announces Expanded Indications for neoClose System

NeoSurgical’s neoClose system now may be used to shut port site incisions from 5 to 300mm, according to the company.

The device — designed for port site closure following laparoscopic surgery — may include port site incisions in bariatric, colorectal and cholecystectomy lap surgeries.

The system uses the Vector X closure method and generated 75 percent less tension compared with traditional closed loop suture. — Anisa Jibrell
