FDA Approves Biotronik’s BioMonitor 2 Insertable Cardiac Monitor

Biotronik has scored FDA approval for its BioMonitor 2 insertable cardiac remote monitor with ProMRI technology.

The device is inserted subcutaneously under anesthesia and is designed to detect and diagnose atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and fibrillation, and syncope.

BioMonitor 2 holds more than 60 minutes of electrocardiogram recording time and intelligent memory management. — Anisa Jibrell
