OGD: More Than 700 Full and Tentative Approvals in 2015

The Office of Generic Drugs had a banner year in 2015, seeing more than 700 full and tentative approvals, the agency announced last week in its first-ever report on generics.

According to OGD, December marked a high point in the history of the program, with 99 approvals and tentative approvals alone.

The agency also is close to hitting its target for first actions on ANDAs and clearing 90 percent of the application backlog by 2017.
