Exactech Scoops Up FDA Clearance for Vantage Total Ankle

The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance to Gainesville, Fla.-based Exactech for its Vantage Total Ankle for patients suffering from arthritis of the ankle.

The device features curved talus and anatomic tibia designs to restore joint line and enhance implant stability.

Vantage, the newest addition to the company’s extremities line, will enter a clinical trial this summer, with a full launch expected during the first quarter of next year. — Anisa Jibrell
