FDA Approves UNiD Cervical Rod
April 26, 2016
The FDA has approved Medicrea’s UNiD Cervical rod — which complements the company’s PASS OCT posterior cervical stabilization system — for spine surgery, the company announced Tuesday.
The rod is customized to offer patient-specific realignment implant options for cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine operations, thus eliminating the need to manually adjust transition rods.
The rod is available in a single-diameter (3.5mm) or dual-diameter (3.5-, 5.5- or 6mm) options. — Anisa Jibrell
