Medtronic Releases Positive Results on Edurant Stent

Medtronic has introduced positive results from the ENGAGE global registry study evaluating its Endurant AAA stent graft system.

According to the results, aneurysm-related mortality was 1.6 percent in the ENGAGE registry versus 6.3 percent for open surgery.

A lower rupture rate and decreased secondary intervention rate were also observed, according to Medtronic.
