Fresenius Kabi Pulls Sensocaine-MPF Injection

Fresenius Kabi USA is recalling one lot of its injectable anesthetic Sensorcaine-MPF after an inspection turned up glass-like particulate matter in the product’s reserve samples.
The company warns that use of the injections, distributed between March 4 and March 21, may lead to inflammation, injury or vasculature blockage of eye nerves. Thus far, Fresenius has received no adverse event reports pertaining to the recall.
