Instrumentation Laboratory Introduces HemosIL Apixaban Test

Instrumentation Laboratory has launched its HemosIL Apixaban test in Europe, the company announced Monday, for measuring apixaban, a direct oral anticoagulant for the treatment of venous thromboembolic events.

The test is intended to be used in conjunction with the company’s CE IVD-marked HemosIL apixaban calibrators and controls for precise measurement.

The test joins two other assays in the company’s anticoagulant panel. — Anisa Jibrell
