Thermo Fisher Reveals Precision ID NGS System

Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced its Applied Biosystems Precision ID NGS system, a sequencing analysis system designed to recover more information from degraded or limited DNA samples.

The system consists of five Precision ID panels including, the Precision ID GlobalFiler NGS STR, the Precision ID mtDNA Whole Genome, the Precision mtDNA Control Region, the Precision ID Identity and the Precision ID Ancestry Panel, all of which are designed to accommodate the diverse needs of forensic caseworkers.
