Siemens Healthineers Acquires NEO New Oncology

Siemens Healthineers, previously known as Siemens Healthcare, has acquired German-based NEO New Oncology, the company announced Tuesday.

The German startup is currently developing molecular profiling assays based on next-generation sequencing that includes NEOliquid, a biopsy test for the genomic profiles of solid tumors.

The acquisition will expand Siemens’ existing diagnostics portfolio. Financial terms were not disclosed. — Anisa Jibrell
