BioTronik Introduces CardioMessenger Smart

Biotronik has launched its CardioMessenger Smart in the U.S., the German devicemaker announced Tuesday.

CardioMessenger Smart is a portable monitoring device that delivers a patient’s cardiac monitor results, pacemaker and implanted cardioverter defibrillator status directly to their doctor.

The device — which is compatible with the company’s pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators and insertable cardiac monitors — provides daily reports and customizable alerts for physicians. — Anisa Jibrell
