Profusa Introduces Lumee Biosensor Tech­nology

San Francisco, Calif.-based Profusa has introduced its Lumee biosensor technology, which is designed to continuously track body chemistry for management of chronic diseases such as, peripheral artery disease.

The biosensors consist of bioengineered smart hydrogels that are injected under the skin and indicate the presence of oxygen, glucose, or other biomarkers.

The technology debuted at the Pioneers Festival in Vienna, Austria. — Anisa Jibrell
