SuperSonic Imagine Gains Japanese Clearance for Aixplorer

Supersonic Imagine scored regulatory approval for its Aixplorer ultrasound system, the company announced Thursday.

The system includes new ultrasound probes which can be used in a wide range of clinical applications including the assessment of liver disease, prostate cancer, obstetrics and musculoskeletal evaluation.

In addition to the probes, the approval includes the company’s Planewave UltraSensitive imaging solution for microvascular visualization. — Anisa Jibrell
