EndoGastric Solutions Launches EsophyX Z System

EndoGastric Solutions has announced the limited release of its EsophyX Z Fastener Delivery system in the U.S., designed for reconstruction of the gastroesophageal valve via transoral incisionless fundoplication procedures.

The first procedure using the device was performed recently at U.C. Irvine Health in Irvine, Calif. The company expects a full launch this summer. — Anisa Jibrell
