Chinese FDA Approves Tissuemed’s TissuePatch

After a two and a half year process, the China Food and Drug Administration has greenlighted Tissuemed’s surgical sealant TissuePatch.

The approval includes all surgical applications for TissuePatch sealant film technology, broadening the product’s reach beyond neurological and thoracic procedures.

The company says TissuePatch is the first synthetic sealant to nab CFDA approval. — Anisa Jibrell
