Centric Medical’s Implant System Garners FDA Clearance

Huntley, Ill.-based Centric Medical has won FDA clearance for its Subtalar Arthroereisis implant system, which is designed to treat hyperpronation of the foot and stabilization of the subtalar joint.

The titanium device is intended to help correct pathologic flatfoot deformities by blocking forward, downward and medial displacement of the talus, according to the company.
