Prism’s ProteXsure System Scores FDA Clearance

Coral Springs, Fla.-based Prism Medical & Design has won FDA clearance for its ProteXsure safety capsule system, which is designed to prevent needle stick injuries.

The automated system, which nabbed CE mark approval in February, includes 100 needle capsules that are intended to cover needle tips.
