Ximedica Purchases Accel Biotech

Rhode Island’s Ximedica has purchased California-based Accel Biotech under undisclosed terms.

The acquisition expands Ximedica’s design and development offerings in in vitro diagnostics, disposables and lab equipment, the company announced. It also will expand its operations to the West Coast.

Accel will maintain its presence in Silicon Valley, according to the companies. — Anisa Jibrell
