Topical Ointment Hits Goal in Phase 3 Trials

Pfizer’s crisaborole topical ointment scored in two Phase 3 trials that evaluated it for the treatment of atopic dermatitis, the company announced.

The ointment met its primary and secondary endpoints of statistical significance in children two years of age and up and adults compared to vehicle ointment alone, according to Pfizer.
