Opioid-induced Constipation Therapy Approved by FDA

The FDA has approved a new drug co-developed by Valeant Pharmaceuticals and Progenics Pharmaceuticals that treats opioid-induced constipation in adults.

Relistor is slated to hit the market sometime this fall, the companies said.
