Cardiome Gets EMA Approval for Xydalba Indication

Cardiome’s skin infection drug Xydalba has won approval from the EMA.

The single-dose infusion of the drug Xydalba is approved to treat acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections in adults. It was backed by the FDA in May 2014.

It could enhance the convenience of antibiotic administration for both healthcare providers and their patients the company said.
