First Doses of Flublok Influenza Vaccine Have Been Released

Protein Sciences has sent out the first lots of Flublok influenza vaccine for distribution this season.

The product is a recombinant protein-based vaccine for the prevention of seasonal influenza disease. Lots of the vaccine are expected to be in the hands of consumers and physicians by the end of the week.

Flublok is approved for people 18 and older.
