FDA Gives Green Light to First Generic Version of Tamiflu

The FDA has just approved the first generic for Roche’s blockbuster drug Tamiflu.

Indian drugmaker Natco Pharma received the first generic approval for the drug, which is widely used to fend off the flu and treat flu symptoms.

While the agency did not identify the winning company in its notice, Natco disclosed it in a separate announcement.
