FDA Grants Approval to SyntheticMR’s MAGiC

SyntheticMR’s partner, GE Healthcare, has received 510(k) clearance for MAGiC (Magnetic Resonance Image Compilation). MAGiC is a customized version of SyntheticMR’s SyMRI Image software marketed by GE Healthcare under a license agreement.

MAGiC is the industry’s first multi-contrast magnetic resonance (MR) technique to be cleared by the FDA.

Clearance was based on a clinical study of 109 patients from 6 separate institutions. — Cynthia Jessup
