Medtronic's Reveal Linq ICM Cleared to Launch in Japan

Medtronic has received approval from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) to market the Reveal LINQ Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) System in Japan.

The device is the smallest insertable cardiac monitoring device available. It is designed to help physicians diagnose irregular heartbeats. The device automatically and continuously detects and records abnormal heart rhythms for up to three years and is MRI-safe if needed. — Cynthia Jessup
