China FDA Priority Review Procedure to Take Effect Jan. 1

The China FDA Priority Review will be in effect beginning Jan. 1. Manufacturers will be able to request priority review and approval of Class II and III devices exported to China, The China Food and Drug Administration announced.

Devices will be determined for eligibility for priority review by regulators and they will also determine which priority review designation applies to each device before conducting a technical review. — Cynthia Jessup
