Merck Launches 2 IVF Devices

Merck has released two fertility technologies, Gidget and Geri+ to extend its portfolio to support all steps performed by fertility laboratories during assisted reproductive treatment.

Gidget is designed as electronic witnessing and tracking system to reduce the possibilities of mismatching and improve lab workflows.

Geri+ is to be used in conjunction with the Geri embryo incubator and the Eeva algorithm.

Both products will be available immediately in Europe and Canada. Gidget will also be launching in the US, Japan and additional regions in the near future. — Cynthia Jessup
