Dr. Reddy's Begins Sales of Generic Anti-Fungal Ointment in the U.S.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has launched a generic version of Taro Pharmaceuticals’ fungal cream, Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide.

The FDA approved the generic in late October. It will be distributed in tube sizes of 15, 30 and 60 grams, the company said.

At least three other generics makers have received approval for a generic version of the fungal ointment, including Glenmark, Fougera and Taro Pharmaceuticals.
