Abionic Secures CE Marks for Sepsis and Iron Deficiency Diagnostics

Abionic garnered CE Marks for two diagnostic tests intended for the company’s abioSCOPE device and designed for the assessment of sepsis risks and iron deficiency.

Using a pancreatic stone protein (PSP) capsule, the device detects that protein biomarker in five minutes at the point of care to identify patients at risk for sepsis.

A ferritin IVD capsule allows the device to evaluate ferritin concentrations in the blood to diagnose iron deficiency and identify potential iron metabolism-related diseases, such as iron-deficiency anemia.
