Medtronic’s CardioInsight Mapping Solution Receives FDA Clearance

The FDA has given marketing clearance for the CardioInsight noninvasive 3D mapping system.

The device is used to map a wide range of irregular heart rhythms in the upper and lower chambers of the heart by providing 3D maps of the heart. The system collects electrocardiogram signals from the chest and combines them with data from a CT scan of the heart.
