Medtronic Earns FDA Clearance, CE Mark for Catheter Products

Medtronic rolled out two new catheters and related products that received FDA clearance and the CE mark for use in diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures. The devices include the DxTerity catheter and transradial-specific products including the DxTerity TRA, the InTRAkit access kit and TRAcelet compression device.

The DxTerity TRA catheters allow for engagement of both coronary arteries without exchanging catheters. The access kit includes several component pieces including ergonomic needles, and the compression device stops bleeding.
