Trump Working on ‘New System’ to Bring Down Drug Prices

President Trump said he is working on “a new system” that will lower drug prices for patients and boost competition in the industry.

Trump is planning to meet with members of Congress to discuss the costs of prescription drugs.

Reps. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) and Peter Welch (D-Vt.) are scheduled to meet with the president, and they will be joined by Redonda Miller, president of The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
