FDA Awards Marketing Clearance to Trovita Health Science’s Nutrition Delivery Device for Tube Feeding

Philadelphia–based Trovita Health Science has received FDA marketing clearance for its Safe-T feed nutrition delivery device for tube feeding.

The device is a ready-to-feed pouch that has a fully-closed system, pre-packaged with complete enteral formulas.

The device simplifies the tube feeding process from over sixty steps to just seven and eliminates pouring enteral formulas into an open syringe or gravity bag for feedings.

The device incorporates the ENFit nutrition connector, which is a leak-proof connector that allows the device to be disconnected from a tube during feeding and stored for later use. — Cynthia Jessup
