Ventec Life Systems Gains FDA Clearance of VOCSN

Washington–based Ventec Life Systems has received FDA marketing clearance from the FDA for its VOCSN, a portable life support device that combines five respiratory therapies - ventilation, oxygen, cough, suction and nebulization.

The device is designed to improve care for patients with neuromuscular disease, impaired lung function, spinal cord injury and pediatric development complications.

Patients can receive all five therapies or just the mix of therapies needed.

Limited quantities of VOCSN will be shipped to the United States beginning in June 2017, to Asia in 2017; and to Canada and Europe in 2018. — Cynthia Jessup
